Wexford Opera House hosted Theatre Forum Ireland 's Annual Conference on June 10 & 11. Theatre Forum is the representative association for the performing arts in Ireland.......
Over 300 arts professionals including industry leaders and decision makers attended the conference in Wexford Opera House to partake in a number of varied panel discussions and workshops, many of which dealt with issues currently facing the arts sector.
During the eventful two-day conference, just about every inch of Wexford Opera House was utilised to providing facilities for AGM’s, panel discussions, break out groups, guided tours, workshops and of course lunch and refreshments! It was apt that the Theatre Forum Conference was the first conference to be held in Wexford Opera House given the strong links between the two organisations. The conference allowed Wexford Opera House to showcase the buildings adaptability and accessibility to the arts sector. Delegates were hugely impressed by the facilities on offer at Wexford Opera House, and the board and executive of Theatre Forum were delighted that the conference was such a success.
