Wexford Opera House is committed to defining and exploring its place at the heart of our local area. Through its presentations of live performances featuring international works of the highest quality, Wexford Opera House aims to offer children, young people, students, teachers and other members of our neighbourhood the opportunity to connect with the world community through the arts.

We will also host resident arts groups and organizations, who in partnership with Wexford Opera House, will structure the means to support the creative activities of local companies through education and training programmes. Wexford Opera House will also offer discounted hire charges to local groups for use of the two theatre spaces and meeting rooms.

Over the coming months, as part of our wider community outreach arts strategy, we will begin to initiate a range of participatory activities including a Youth Dance Programme, a Youth Drama Programme, a Youth Opera Programme, artist-in-residence programmes, master classes, professional development workshops and other events within the context of lifelong learning.
